Luc Corneli
Principal and Founder

Luc Corneli’s career in real estate goes back more than three decades, starting when he joined the management team of a small shopping centre in Quebec. Within a few years, he became responsible for managing and leasing five commercial properties. In 1987, Luc joined the leasing department of Burnac Corporation and 10 years later was named Vice President of Leasing, with a portfolio of 34 shopping centres in Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic Canada. While at Burnac, Luc led the development of several new shopping centres, taking charge of land acquisition, site planning, re-zoning construction and leasing. In 2000, he founded High Peak Leasehold Limited, a development consulting firm that evolved into High Peak Realties Inc., a real estate brokerage firm, and HPI Realty Management.

Gregg Fera
Project Leader and Co-Founder, HPI Realty Management Inc.

Gregg Fera brings over 30 years of experience in commercial construction and development as Owner’s representative from advisory and consultative assignments to full project implementation, including early strategic planning, design development, budgeting, governmental approvals, construction and occupancy. His background and participation in hundreds of varying sizes and types of projects across Canada from shopping centres and office buildings to tenant leasehold improvements, allow Gregg to work on equal footing with planners, designers, architects, engineers and contractors, while engaging each project and assignment with a partnership approach as the Owner/Client representative. A few of his many projects include two expansions/renovations of Yorkdale Shopping Centre, expansion/redevelopment of Georgetown Market Place, development of Terminal 3 at Pearson International Airport and Vancouver International Airport, expansion/redevelopment of Shoppers World Danforth Toronto, expansion/redevelopment of Bayers Road Shopping Centre Halifax, development of Sheppard Centre and 55 St Clair Ave W Toronto.

Linda Hachey
Vice President of Operations

With a career in property management that dates back to 1980, Linda Hachey boasts extensive expertise in leasing, construction planning and coordination, marketing and operations. In her role at High Peak Group of Companies, Linda’s ultimate objective is to protect and increase the value of all properties in her management portfolio. To this end, she works closely with property owners and managers to ensure the efficiency of day-to-day operations to continuously increase consumer traffic and drive retail sales. Linda is well known for her pragmatic approach to problem solving, and for her prompt response to requests from owners, managers and tenants.

Elaine Ross
Financial Controller

As a Controller, Elaine oversees the Accounting function at High Peak Group of Companies. She has extensive experience in real estate accounting and finance. Prior to joining the High Peak Group of Companies, Elaine held management roles at Bentall Capital and O&Y Enterprise. Elaine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the International Management Institute (Switzerland) and is also CMA designated.

Howard C. Meier
Vice President of Investment and Dispositions

Howard C. Meier is a seasoned real estate professional with more than 25 years of experience providing domestic and international real estate services to clients in a wide range of industries. Before joining High Peak Group of Companies, Howard held roles as a broker and senior executive for such companies as Ashlar Urban Realty Inc., and NAIC Realty Inc., where he received an award for top global sales in 2008. Howard has a track record for realizing returns on underperforming assets, which he established during his years as a special assets manager for Manulife Financial and as vice president of leasing and marketing for Nor-Am Developments. Howard’s numerous industry affiliations include the Certified Commercial Investment Member, the National Realtors Association, the Canadian Real Estate Association, and the Ontario Real Estate Association.

Maxine Morris-Zecchini
Senior Vice President and Broker

Maxine Morris-Zecchini has built a stellar career in real estate, amassing a wealth of experience and knowledge in planning and leasing unique retail projects, particularly high density, mixed-use and specialty centres. She was V.P. Strategic Planning for O&Y Enterprise. She also held a senior role at Olympia & York Developments, where she led the development teams for Queens Quay Terminal, Harbourfront, and the World Financial Centre on the Hudson in Manhattan. Maxine founded Morris Young Associates, whose projects included BCE Place in Toronto, World Trade Centre in Montreal, Union Station in Washington, D.C., and Canary Wharf in London. In the years immediately preceding her arrival at High Peak Group of Companies, Maxine worked with the boutique retail real estate firm XL Retail Commercial Services Inc, and with Colliers International, where she was Vice President of Retail Advisory Services and later Associate Vice President of its retail group. Maxine is a long-standing member and past board member of Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women.

Brittany Heath
Senior Leasing Manager and Broker of Record

Brittany Heath joined High Peak Group of Companies in 2006, after spending two years learning the ins and outs of the real estate industry while working as assistant to the commercial and industrial team at Cushman & Wakefield. In her early years with the company, Brittany was a junior lease coordinator representing landlords’ interests in commercial developments. She has since advanced to the role of Senior Leasing Manager, negotiating leases and business terms on behalf of landlords. After attaining her broker designation from the Ontario Real Estate Association, Brittany also became broker of record for High Peak Group of Companies and now oversees every aspect of the company’s brokerage operations, from property sales and commissions to managing trust accounts. Brittany, who has a Bachelor of Commerce in economics and marketing from the University of Guelph, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres.
